- How often you reproof your desert wax garment will vary depending on wear and use, however we recommend reproofing once a year
- When the garment gets dirty, brush off dirt or sponge down with cold water
- Do not use soap or detergents when cleaning your desert wax garment
- Do not machine wash, dry clean, iron or tumble dry
- To reproof, stand the desert wax reproofer tin in hot water to soften the wax
- Once soft, work the wax well into the garment using a sponge or cloth paying special attention to seams, creases and dry patches Rub in well (do not just coat the garment)
- Avoid using excess wax on the garment
- Once completely covered, dry evenly with a hair dryer
- Hang garment in a warm place to dry completely overnight.
