Tell us a bit about Five Little Wild Flowers and how you got into documenting your wonderful life as a family?

I began my public Instagram account @five.little.wildflowers (previously @four.little.wildflowers) about three years ago during the springtime of 2016 when we’d had an amazing year of continued rainfall and our station was absolutely blanketed in beautiful wildflowers. It was the first time I’d seen any in the almost 9 years of being there. The name Five Little Wildflowers represents our family which consists of myself, my husband Rhys and our five daughters: Isabelle, Ruby, Ava, Poppy and Clementine. Around the same time, I started taking more and more photos of the girls modelling clothes for some small businesses who especially loved the outback landscape. My account has just grown from there and these days I just like to share little snippets of our life out here.

Where is your station based & what type of station is it? Did you grow up there?

We live on a sheep station in Far West NSW. My husband has lived in this area his whole life and I have been here with him for the past 11 years.

What inspired you to become a photographer?

Photography has always been a hobby of mine. Living out here and having kids has inspired me to take more photos and I love the beautiful colours of the landscape, especially during the golden hour before sunset. It is a future goal of mine to learn more about the technical side of photography, probably when the kids get a bit bigger and I have some more time!

What is your favourite thing to do as a family?

One of our favourite things to do as a family would probably be to head up to a favourite spot on the ancient Sandhills on our property and relax with a few drinks and perhaps a BBQ and watch the sun go down.

How long have you been part of the RB Sellars community and do you and the girls have a favourite piece from our new collection?

We have been buying RB Sellars clothes for as long I can remember! I don’t think there’d be a single day where someone wasn’t wearing something. By far our favourite piece would have to be the work shirts, they last forever, and on a rough count for our family of 7, I’d estimate we have at least 40 floating around our house. Definitely a staple out here!
