Introduction

We are looking for a passionate and highly motivated IT Helpdesk support professional with outstanding communication to join our team. The support team member will be the first contact person to assist with the day-to-day support to our retail stores and head office.

The Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering calls and responding to support tickets sent in via email and the ticketing system from our stores and head office staff
  • You will require comprehensive knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, basic networking, and diagnosing various hardware and software related issues
  • Assist with general operational questions about our ERP (Apparel 21), POS, Windows, Mac, and other software within the business
  • Support a range of peripherals and add-ons, including scanners, EFTPOS, printers, Mobile devices, iOS apps hardware, etc

A low volume of after-hours and weekend support is also required.

About You:

  • Proven experience working in a help desk role
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High problem solving and analytical skills
  • The ability and willingness to learn and understand new software packages
  • A good understanding of when to escalate an issue
  • Have the ability and willingness to work autonomously and with other team members
  • Contributing to the continual improvement of the support process by raising ideas to the Team Lead and being involved in continuous improvement initiatives as required
